Snowpocalypse 2010
Parkway Manor and the surrounding DC Metro region are under some snow...perhaps 3 feet and/or more. Breaking records left and right. 1) DC has become the snowiest city in the US this season. 2) DC has had the most snow in over 100 years, since records have been kept! 3) The Federal government has been shut down for 5 days, the most consecutive days in modern history! We're going stir crazy. We are entering 7 days of virtual house arrest!!!
Parkway Manor under the weight of three feed of snow. Notice the Hollybush in front of the front door? Look at this photo to see how it held up to 2 feet of snow in December. Sad. And scary!
Some of the trees can't bear it.
A passage to Narnia; the Ice Queen has escaped!
Our poor Magnolia! Touching the ground, bowing under pressure. Such a sad state for such a stately sass!

Whoa, did we pass my hometown of Syracuse as snowiest city??? This all seems like a cruel joke.
Hope the magnolia bounces back!
